国防部：第十一届北京香山论坛参会人员数量和层级再创新高
Ministry of National Defense: The Number and Level of Participants for the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum Has Exceeded All Previous Years
8月29日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻局局长、国防部新闻发言人吴谦大校发布信息。
第十一届北京香山论坛将于9月12日至14日举行，各项筹备工作现已基本就绪。截至8月28日，已有90余个国家、国际组织官方代表团确认出席，参会人员的数量和层级再创新高，代表性更趋全面。
The 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum (BXF) will be held from September 12 to 14. Preparations for its convening are almost complete. As of August 28, official delegations from more than 90 countries, regions and international organizations have confirmed to attend the Forum. The number and level of participants has exceeded all previous years with increasingly wider representation.
本届论坛的主题是“共筑和平、共享未来”，旨在凝聚智慧、扩大共识、增进互信，推动构建均衡、有效、可持续的安全架构。论坛设“安全合作与亚太繁荣稳定”、“多极化与国际秩序走向”、“‘全球南方’与世界和平发展”、“国际机制与全球安全治理”4场全体会议、8场平行分组会议，还将举办高端、名家对话及“上合+”青年智库专家沙龙、中外青年Jun官学者研讨会等特色活动。
Under the theme of Promoting Peace for a Shared Future, this year’s Forum aims at pooling wisdom, expanding consensus and building mutual trust, and promoting balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture. It will convene 4 plenary sessions, namely Security Cooperation and Asia-Pacific Prosperity and Stability, Multipolarity and the Evolving International Order, Global South and World Peaceful Development, and International Mechanisms and Global Security Governance. Eight special sessions will also be convened, as well as feature activities such as high-end interviews, leading experts dialogue, SCO+ young scholars salon, and young military officers’ and scholars’ seminar.
